Auditions

2011/2012 Season
Mainstage & Artist-in-Residence Program 

New York Lyric Opera Theatre 
is pleased to announce auditions for its 2011/2012 season 
of concert opera and semi-staged performances.

Locations include:
Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, among others.

Planned for 2011/2012 season: 

Carmen, Così Fan Tutte, Manon, Alcina, Cendrillon, Die Zauberflöte, Suor Angelica, Don Giovanni, La Bohème, Le Nozze di Figaro, Hansel and Gretel, Impressario, Cavalliere Rusticana, I Pagliacci, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, La Clemenza di Tito, Die Walküre, and one Oratorio performance (TBA). 

We will be hearing singers for mainstage leading & comprimario roles 
as well as singers for our Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program. Selected AIRs will perform scenes from the opera, cover mainstage roles, and/or will participate in eight to fifteen hours of master classes culminating in a Final Concert.
